Compensation limits and statutory payments

As always, 1 February sees the compensation limits increase.  With effect from 1 February 2012 the limits will increase.

*where employee is dismissed principally for trade union membership or activities, for being a health and safety rep, pension scheme trustee, employee representative or on working time grounds.

As from April 2012, family friendly payments (statutory maternity, paternity, adoption pay) will increase from £128.73 to £135.45. Statutory sick pay will increase from £81.60 to £85.85.
